We follow our PASSION...

Heather began her dancing at the age of three. She soon realized that dance was her driving force and her passion. Heather trained under the watchful eyes of Steven Boyd and was chosen by him to go to New York and study at Broadway Dance Center under Frank Hatchett. Growing up, she was given the honor of being placed on scholarship for numerous dance conventions. Heather’s dedication and passion for dance lead her to further her education at Texas Christian University. While at TCU, Heather was a part of an elite performance group, DanceTCU. The summer before her junior year, she was put on scholarship for The American Dance Festival. At this festival she had the honor to take classes from Geri Houlihan, David Dorffman, Bill T. Jones and Alonzo King. She graduated from TCU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance and a strong emphasis in Ballet. She has had the wonderful opportunity to travel around the United States teaching and choreographing at many different high schools and dance studios. Heather began teaching in the public school realm at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas and is currently the Co-Director at Klein Forest High School. Also an instructor at The Woodlands Dance Center, she is beyond excited to be an inaugural member of the TrendSetters Team and cannot wait to share her passion of dance with others!
